Current Weight: 330.5 lbs.
Goal Weight: 200 lbs.
Goal #1: 33 lbs.
Yesterday, I broke down and bought a scale. It's blue. I decided that I needed to know how much I weigh and it's a good way to track my weekly progress towards my weight loss goals.
Most people probably never think about what kind of scale they need. Maybe they want one that measures body fat or has fancy features. However, most scales aren't suitable for me. I never realized how many scales are accurate up to 300 lbs. Most of them only go up to 300 lbs. or fewer. I had to find a scale that went up to 400 lbs. I was embarrassed that I couldn't get any scale I wanted.
In the future I'm going to start weighing myself every Friday morning. I hope to start losing weight quickly and soon. I'm working hard, but it's not easy.
So far I have been exercising regularly every day. I have been walking in the cold on the icy sidewalks. I'm not the fastest walker but I'm working up a sweat. In addition, I've been increasing the distance every day. I'm almost up to walking two miles every day.
I feel so overwhelmed right now. I have so much weight to lose that it's daunting. I'm starting to doubt that I can lose 130 lbs. That's like losing whole other person! But I need to have faith and be strong. I can do this. I can lose all this weight. I can't lose it instantly and it will require some hard work. But it boils down to making some choices and becoming a little more active. That's not terribly difficult. I'm sure I can do it. I just need to stay strong and remind myself what I'm working towards. That's all I can do.
