Tonight was really great. I was home all day, and kinda lounged around quite a bit. I did watch "the Squid and the Whale" which was great. I love Laura Linney. I love every actor who was in "Love Actually", except the Guppy of course. I hate her.
Anyway, I was up, not tired, and bored, so I decided to go to the bar. It was the gayest bar experience ever. Drinking at a bar watching "RENT" the movie. It worked so well though. I would love to have a night where a bar played a musical and everyone sang along. It would be fabulous. "Rocky Horror" comes to mind as a good one. "RENT" is also a good choice. There are probably others as well...
Well, I talked to Matt the Bartender, who I love, because he's great. I've been establishing a relationship with him for weeks. I tipped him 50% tonight. Not so that I get anything special, but just so he knows me and remembers me. I'll also get drinks quicker when he works. Well, there were only about 10 people in the bar, so that's probably not an issue. But still I really like him and I want him to know I appreciate him.
I also met Caleb and Eric, who fought a lot but were really nice. Eric bought be a shot that Caleb called a "Slutty Lorraine". Ok, it may have been named something else, but that was close enough. It was tasty though.
We sang "Take Me as I Am". Well, I didn't sing so much, but pretended. It was a very fun night.
Then this hot guy added me as his myspace friend (see if you can spot him!) He's actually from Adrian. I'm still looking for friends in the area. After my near death experience, I don't want to drive anymore. It's too dangerous. I can't believe I'm alive. I should be dead. I'm running out of lives. I don't want to spend them all up yet.
And yes, I could have danced all night and still have begged for more....
