James and the Giant Blog

This weekend I went to my parents.

On Thursday, we went to dinner at the Napoleon Cafe, and it was crazy busy, and not that good. I guess breakfast is better.

Friday, I went to the High School to meet my friend Mandy to go to lunch. I talked to my psychology teacher and my old french teacher. It was odd being back at school. It didn't cause any anxiety or anything. It was just a foreign place, somewhere I no longer belong. Then Mandy and I went to the Beach Bar. I love the Beach Bar. It's on Ocean Beach Road, which is next to a lake, not an Ocean. I never thought about it's very odd name, until Mike pointed it out when he went to my house this summer. Then we went to her house and we played Trivial Pursuit. Fun.

Mandy then gave me gossip on everyone she knew, and I shared some too. One interesting item is that Sara Celina, who I went to school with is now a singer/musician and opened for Tegan & Sara at the Magic Bag. I thought that was awesome.

Saturday, I studied all day. Nothing interesting. Ate Chinese food.

Sunday, my sister and her dog and her fiance came out to my parents house. It was nice to see them.

I also did a lot of laundry which was good.

I'm going to Royal Oak this Friday for John's birthday party. I'm going to pick up Jenn in Novi and hope we don't get stuck in tons of traffic on the way. I'm excited because John's party is at a Comedy Club that is free and there are snacks included.

Another busy weekend ahead. I need to study a lot. I hope I get time to study in sometime.

Mmmm, Chinese food. I have been craving Crab Rangoon. Maybe I'll drag my mom to get Chinese this weekend. I have to go to the Lions' game on Sunday. The Lions' suck, but it is quality time with my dad and brother. Anyway, Comedy Club Friday - yay.

I, too, hope to study this weekend. And wish I had a cool name like Sara Celina.
