Cette Meme Vielle Vague

Awesomely Awful Line: "How can you call this a mine, when everything in it is theirs." Made me laugh for 10 minutes.

I went to B&N today. I prefer Borders since I like the way the store is layed out better and it seems to have a better selection. However, B&N's music department has those headphones things where you can listen to any CD and get a description of it by All Media Guide. I stayed their for several hours listening to CDs and reading about them and such. I like to pick a CD and go through similar artist, and their similar artists until I go through a whole group of artists. It's like a game. I found out that one song I like is by Keane.

Then I was looking at Celebrity Playlists on iTunes. Ted from Queer Eye had many "non-gay" songs and I seemed to like almost all of them. It was funny because one of his descriptions was "You gotta love really really fey, really really anthemic Britpop." I do love fey anthemic britpop. Thanks, Teddy.

While I was at B&N I picked up the latest issue of the magazine "Q" as recommended by Mike. I haven't read it yet, but it came with a CD which is fun.

There was a CD at B&N called "Nouvelle Vague" by Nouvelle Vague. It was New Wave songs set to a kind of world, lounge kind of style. It was like New Wave Pink Martini. It was very fun, but I don't think I could listen to it over and over.

I guess Punky Brewster is on DVD. Everything is on DVD except the State. And Dinosaucers. Why don't they put Dinosaucers on DVD? It's cruel. And Thundarr the Barbarian. I loved Thundarr when I was younger. I loved his Sun Sword. The Wookie rip-off was a little annoying though. Who I really loved was princess magic-lady. She had the armlet with the three gems that did different stuff (fire, ice, and telekinesis?) Anyway she was cool. I also really liked the Sorceress from He-Man. I never understood why she was such a big wimp. She couldn't do anything except she was the Sorceress and everyone feared her. They were dumb. I wonder if Duck Tales is on DVD? It's Disney so they probably only release DVDs for Microseconds at a time and they have a 10th anniversary edition and then they rerelease it so they can get more money.

That is all for now. Carry on.
