Salutations!
Right now I am in San Francisco. I got here really late so I haven't seen anything. It took me about 10 hours to get here from Portland. I didn't realize it was so far initially.
Portland was interesting. I had a good time. There wasn't much touristy stuff so I went down the Columbia River. There were some very pretty mountains and I hiked up to the top of this waterfall. In Portland I went to Powell's which is the largest bookstore in the US. It was heavenly. Olympia was very fun too. I hung out with my friend Beth from CMU. She had to work a lot so I didn't see her a whole lot, but it was really fun to reminisce.
I think that I'm done travelling. I've seen a lot of stuff that I wanted too, but I'm pretty tired. I think I'm going to head back on Sunday or Monday and hopefully be in Ohio/Michigan by Thursday or Friday. I may stop along the way, I may not.
Right now I'm pretty disenchanged by the stolen stuff. Also, I can't use my laptop because the power source got stolen so I have to use the $1/10 min internet here. Not bad, but I'd rather have my computer. I also keep realizing little things that got stolen. My Order of the Phoenix book. My mini maglite. My mom's binoculars. I hope that the insurance company will reimburse us for the stolen stuff.
I guess that's all for now. I hope to see everyone soon. Talk to you later....

The one time my car got broken into, the insurance company reimbursed me for everything taken -- at a high replacement cost. They gave me $18 for each CD that was stolen, even though most cost way less than that.
