I have little to talk about since I'm at school (boring for others) and I'm by myself in Toledo (somewhat boring for me) so I haven't been writing much. Right now I'm waiting for Civil Procedure and trying to decide if I should eat or what I should do.
This weekend was fun. I didn't have too much homework so I actually had some fun:
- Friday, went to Ann Arbor. Ate Sorbetto which is my new favorite thing EVER. I love it. Then Jay, Jenn and Jay's friend Eric and I went to the bar. I forgot my license. I talked to the bouncer and said, paraphrasing, "Look, I'm 26, I don't want to drink, just go to the bar, I forgot my ID in Toledo, here is my new Rocket Card and here is my Chip (fire up!) Card from 8 Years ago. Pretty please." I got X-ed and went inside. I didn't drink any alcohol which was a good thing. I've refrained for a couple of weeks now and I feel good about it. Drinking has really lost its edge for me, so I'm enjoying sobriety. Nothing really noteworthy happened at the bar.
* Caveat on Eric. I really like Eric. He's very fun and we seem to get along really well. I've met him once before. He seems very different from me, personality-wise, but I always enjoy meeting new and interesting people. Plus because he's a Senior Scientist and I'm an Uber-Scientist we can talk about different science things. Like the number of carbons in methany and butane and stuff. Rokk!
- Saturday, I went to the zoo with my family. It was fun and the tigers were really neat.
- Sunday, I studied all day. :(
- Monday, I went to Mike's labor-day party. It was super fun and everyone was there so I really enjoyed it. Jessica said she'd make out with me. That's why I love her. Beckie tried to wrastle me but I stoked her thigh and she got grossed out. She probably would have gone psycho if I gave her a Mr. Peepers or something. It seemed like at many different points people paired off to talk about different secrets, but I think everything was said in the end. There was a batman pinata with Bush's face taped to it, and filled with little bottles of alcohol. Oh, and Austin gave me a box of about 50 MKAO NYM posters! Snifty!
Today I am back at school. Only one more class for the day!!!! Don't be a Van Valkenburgh!
