On Friday, I was bored, annoyed, and disgruntled so at 3pm I got up and left. I just gathered mythings and left work. At five I got a call from my supervisor who wanted to know what happened. I told her I had to leave but we'd discuss it on Monday. She thought that something happened butsaid she'd talk to me.I told my friend Jessy I was leaving. After I talked to my supervisor, my team leader took Jessyto the side and grilled her. He asked her where I was and she said she didn't know. She thenbroke down and told him I left. He asked if I was coming back and she said "on Monday" and hesaid, "I don't believe you" and she said "well, at least for a little while". He yelled at hersaying she should be more loyal to who pays her bills than a friend. (he's a jerk)They knew I was quitting.I went in on Monday and I talked to my supervisor for an hour or more about why EDS, my accountand others suck. I didn't say why I left, only that I wasn't changing my mind. She desperatelytried to convince me otherwise. She then asked that I would leave professionally. I said I wouldand I just wanted to say good-bye to Jessy. She said that was fine. I went to Jessy's desk andwas talking quietly to her and my team leader yelled at me and told me to leave. I said I wastalking to Jessy. He said I had to go. So I yelled at him and told him to talk to my supervisorbecause she said I could. He went over there and I finished my conversation. My supervisorwalked me to the door and I said "See? I tried to leave professionally and this is how I gottreated. How could you expect me to stay?" Then I turned and left. She said nothing to me. Shelooked mad.I found out the next day that one of my team leaders was fired. I don't know what they're doingabout the French calls but it seems like I may have made a difference. I have closure at least. In other news, I got a new car. I got a 2001 Saturn with 30,000 miles on it. It's pretty niceand less expensive than my other car so I have lower payments. It turns out that by accidentturned out for the better. Well, I'm busy moving and running last minute errands. I hope to seeeverybody before I go to school.
