Jenn and I went to see Spider-man 2 last night. I think it was one of the best movies that I have seen this year. What surprised me the most is how funny the movie was. The cameos with Hal Sparks and Bruce Campbell were awesome. Stan Lee was almost impossible to see, but I found him. Over all I thought the movie exceeded all my expectations and was really good. Of course, it is set up perfectly for a third movie, but grossing 180 million dollars since Wednesday guarantees several more to follow.
Jenn and I talked to Takkun briefly the other night (Monday?) and he said that he might have a girlfriend soon. I told him that if that didn't work out I knew a girl who was 5'6", green eyes, long reddish-brown hair, very cute and thin, loves anime, radiohead, nin, and more. He laughed. Jenn embarrasingly laughed. But it's over. I think the Takkun saga is over. Either he doesn't like Jenn anymore or is too stubborn to pursue her, but I think she's done with him. I can't blame her, perhaps she should move on.
When do you give up on true love? And if it doesn't work out does that mean it wasn't true love? I don't know. I think that Jenn/Takkun is MJ/Peter Parker. They love each other but they can't be together. I think that MJ & Peter have a better excuse, but even then they are going to try and work it out.
