The Blog and the Pendulum

Update: Jenn and Ninja are doing well. Nothing can stop them now. If the world runs out of lovers, they'll still have each other. I'm sure this doesn't please Anonymous who I know is Jenn's soulmate. If only they knew....

I've decided this weekend that I'm going to my parents' house for the weekend. I need to study a lot and I need to be removed from the craziness of the weekends I've been having lately. Also, I'm tired of driving and paying for gas. Even though now gas is like $2.20 which is so great. I never thought I would have been so happy gas was $2.20. I remember when it was below a dollar. Anyway, I'm going to hide away and do laundry and study and eat chinese food.

My friend Mandy is also in town, so I may see her this weekend. I'm so excited. I hope it works out.

My parents won't be home on Saturday Night because they are going to Eaton Rapids to see some singing Celtic comedy troup. Or is it troop. I can't spell. Anyway, it sounds awful and I'm glad I'm not going. I'm going to stay in and revel in the wonder of the IRS Code. Ah, the Code.

Speaking of the Code, the Bush administration is making changes and they seem dumb. And confusing. One change is the option to sent your tax return in on a 4x6 card instead of a 32-line form. That's just dumb. There actually nothing in the code that says how you have to file, you're just required to file. So that means you could send something in on a piece of toilet paper, which is what I'm going to do.

I won $50 today from Westlaw. I took some class and I won! I almost won $300 which would have been awesome, but I am very pleased with $50.

There are riots around Paris and this makes me sad. I hope the riots stop soon.

I also hate the older students that wear woven brown leather belts and penny loafers and pretend to care about what is discussed in class. You don't care. And I hate you.

I guess that's all for now. Cheers.

I'd like to second the whole "Bush's tax changes are dumb" thing. At least he's consistent though.

If you see Mandy this weekend tell her I said hello.

Congrats on the $50! First $50, then take over the school!! Taking a weekend off from everything seems like a good idea, but if you want to push that off until after we hand out our cards to a bunch of crappy doctors let me know.

I believe "troup" is actually "troupe" with the extra "e" for no reason.

I think its funny that I wrote that, and then I read Dan's blog and he wrote 'troupe' twelve times and I was corrected in a roundabout way.

What do you say when you post a comment?
