Check this out...apparently there are applications that can retreive files from formatted SD cards http://www.winappslist.com/utilities/data_recovery2.htm .I googled and found a couple, but the one above has a 30 day evaluation period.Good luck!
Man, that sucks. I can't believe that such things can happen in Canada. Must be the BC bud...
