I Think Its About Forgiveness

I've learned a lot of things this weekend:

1) There is no sense worrying about things you can't change, because no matter how hard you worry, you'll never win. Focus on the things that you can change.

2) Happiness comes from forgiveness, not anger. It's easier to forgive and move on then to dwell in one's own hatred.

3) Just when you've given up and lost all hope, something happens that affirms the fact the universe isn't out to get you. The universe and all its deities really work in mysterious ways though.

4) Never give up. Even when someone is being a jerk he/she can suddenly do something that redeems him/herself for the next year. The good oftentimes outweighs the bad, if you are patient.

5) Don Henley really knew what he was talking about when he sang, "I'm trying to get down to the heart of the matter, but my will gets weak and my thoughts seem to scatter but I think it's about forgiveness, forgiveness, even if, even if you don't love me anymore".

Ok, so maybe these Truths are not all self-evident but it's a start at least.
