HP3:PoA

I saw Harry Potter on Friday. It was really good but I have many mixed emotions about it. I must say that the book was a lot better. It was more suspensful and it explained more of the background. That's what made the book my favorite when I read it. The movie was really good but because of the time contraints I feel it left out too many important things from the book.

The movie should have AT LEAST touched on:
1) Who were Mooney, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs
2) The friendships between Sirius, Remus, James and Peter
3) Sirius was the "secret keeper" but then they changed it to Peter
4) Snape's relation to Lupin, Black and Potter

There were also many other differences but I think the above points were crucial to understanding the over all series. I think that the cinematography was great and Cuaron did a great job. Many of the characters didn't have nearly enough screen time. Poor Ginny only had one line!

Over all I was pleased with the movie, but the books are still the best. Nothing can compare to the books.
