But I thought that's what lifetime was?

Viacom's MTV to Launch Gay Cable Network: "'We don't think it's indecent,' said Tom Freston, MTV Networks Chairman and CEO, regarding the new network. 'We're not using profanity, we're not using sex. This will be mainstream programming you're seeing everywhere else with the exception it will be targeting the lesbian and gay communities.' "

I think it's great that there is going to be a new gay network but I don't know how I feel about it being started by MTV. Does that mean that there will be gay Real Worlds where they have a token straight into a token gay? Furthermore will they start out with a certain premise (like music videos) and then abandon it 15 years later (so they only show videos between 2 and 4am)?
