When you see President Bush on TV he has several different "characters". My favorite character of his is when he leans one arm on the podium and talks in a low swarthy voice, like he is leveling with us. I saw him on the news today. It doesn't even seem like the same person. He seems to lose his accent and he doesn't seem nearly as stupid. He seems clever and witty. I find the swarthy voice amusing, since I can imagine it's the same one he uses in the bedroom to get Laura to find his weapon of mass destruction.
This is just one more reason why I think this president is manipulative, deceitful and downright conniving. He changes like a chameleon to fit his surroundings. I wonder what character he'll take on when he's out of office in January.
