This weekend was wonderful outside. It was so nice to drive around with the windows down and the wind blowing through my hair. It did seem almost too hot though at times, but I'm not complaining, I just need to adjust to the temperature. It was nice to actually get outside though and walk around. I felt guilty all weekend, like I should get outside and do something, but there is not really much to do. Outside is kind of boring, at least for me. I like to do stuff on my computer, or watch TV or read, which are all indoor activities. I really was pressed to think of something to do outside. Sadly, it all involves exercise, which turns me off instantly. I'm not really into exercise or sports. I did go for several walks, which were pretty nice, but it's not very fun to walk around the apartment complex.
I saw all of Kill Bill this weekend. It wasn't a bad movie, but for being an action movie I found it extremely boring. I thought that with both volumes it was just really boring, and there were a lot of scenes that were unrelated to the plot. The cinematography was great and I really enjoyed the sampling of different genres of movies. In addition, a lot of the background information that I found relevant was not present. I wanted to know more about the DiVAs, what they did, and who they were. Also, I thought that Elle's relationship with the Bride would make for a very good background. I find that the whole first volume was almost completely irrelevant to the whole story. There were some scenes that related to the ongoing story but for the most part the scenes with Vernita and O-ren were interesting, but did not contribute to the story much at all. The ending was pretty good and the scene with Elle and the Bride was the best in the entire movie. In the end, i think that much could have been cut out, and the movie would have been much better as one complete movie. 2.5 Stars
Not much else important happened this weekend. I played FFXI a lot too. I'm still only a lvl 11 WHM. I tried to find a good party on Sunday but no one was online. Maybe it was a sign to go outside.
