Apprentice, FFXI, and Sleep

I actually slept last night. I missed the Apprentice but I'm over that. I did watch Friends which made me chortle and spit.

Bill is the new apprentice. I usually root for the underdog, so I didn't root for Bill. I think that Bill might do the best job but he was an obvious choice. He was a Wall Street exec who worked for Morgan Stanley, started his own online company, is white and educated and the $250,000 salary probably isn't that big of a jump for him. I really wanted someone to win who wasn't the typical candidate, who could have embodied the "American Dream" where it doesn't matter who you are or where you come from, but if you've got the street smarts and a good personality, you can make it anywhere. I thought it would have been awesome if Troy won, but he didn't. Bill was the obvious choice and that choice rendered the show anti-climatic and predicatable. Also, I don't think that women were represented well on the show. They were either sluts or b*tches. I would like to see a woman emerge victorious who is neither of those. I'm not trying to bash the show because I've enjoyed it more than most reality TV, but I just think the end was a little disappointing. It seems Bill could have been hired just based on his resume; what was the point of the different challenges?

I played FFXI last night. I am now a lvl 10 BLM. I got the scroll of blaze spikes and aero, now. I switched back to my white mage at the end of the night. I'm going to level my WHM up to 18 to get my subjob thingy. I need to start partying now to do that. I don't want to get stuck with tools. I think I need to go to the Canyon thing or something. Everyone needs a WHM. If anyone can find me Barstonra, Barsleepra, Barwatera I'd appreciate it. I can't find it at the auction house. Also, I have over 25,000 gil.
