Lazy Week

Spring break is over. It was pretty uneventful. I worked mostly and then napped. I also watched a lot of movies and TV, which was good.

I cleaned my apartment on Friday. It's now very clean and that makes me happy. When I finally move into an apartment after law school I'm going to have an adult apartment and it will be clean. This means I'm getting rid of a lot of my old crap and I'll buy some new stuff. So if anyone wants a dining room table or a futon or tables and stuff, let me know.

I watched the Godfather last week because I've never seen it. It was long and kind of boring and not very good. But it wasn't bad. I thought it would be gorier. I was actually surprised and annoyed there wasn't more violence. Me wanting violence? I guess or at least action.

I also watched "A Streetcar Named Desire", "Big Trouble in Little China", and "For Your Consideration". I had seen none of them previously. I thought Streetcar and Big Trouble were both excellent. FYC was not bad, but not as funny as I wanted it to be. There were good cameos by John Kraszinski and Sandra Oh.

I also watched this British series called "Footballers' Wives" which was awesomely bad. It was very british drama. When I first started watching it I had to use subtitles because the accents were so strong I didn't understand anything they were saying. But it was a really good series.

I'm craving Mojitos right now. I had one at Bravo when I went to dinner the other day, and it was so delicious. It may be my new drink of choice. Beckie suggested that we get old man drinks when we go to the bar next time. I think that sounds like fun.

I don't think I have anything else.

I suggest for old man drinks the Tom Collins, or a Manhattan.
