Beckie told me today that I need to pay attention in my Bankruptcy class. Uh oh. I always forget which is Chapter 11, Chapter 13, and Chapter 7. That's quite important.... For some reason whenever I think of Chapter 11 Bankruptcy I think of Service Merchandise. That was a weird store. You picked what you wanted and then it came out on a conveyer belt. Very strange concept. I don't think SM even filed Chapter 11. They probably filed Chapter 7 and that's why they are not around anymore. I'm so screwed.
I was listening to one of my favorite songs (Say Something by James) and I realized that it was about suicide or drug overdose. I was kind of crushed. I thought it was more romantic than a drug deal gone bad. Hmm. I also listened to the new single by Scissor Sisters called "I Don't Feel Like Dancing". It is such premium song.
It's is October and Pumpkin is everywhere. Today there were pumpkin pancakes. I did not try them. Jeff got pumpkin beer which just tasted like beer. I got some weird Finnish porter that tasted like soy sauce, but oddly not in a bad way. Jeff and I want to make pumpkin martinis too. We need pumpkin infused vodka though. I don't know where you get such a thing. I'm glad pumpkin is everywhere despite the ROT. Beware the ROT. Oh, and I also saw the most disturbing video narrated by a pumpkin that was carved. It makes me never want to carve a pumpkin again now that I know they feel pain.
Halloween is a-comin' and I don't have a costume. Does anyone? I have not heard of anyone with a costume this year.
I think Jeff and I were talking about "The Grapes of Wrath" for some reason the other day. I thought that was the movie with James Dean, but that was "East of Eden". There was a "Grapes of Wrath" movie in 1940. It's also rumored that Ron Howard is remaking "East of Eden" starring Danny Pintauro from "Who's the Boss?" This seems very weird to me. I would really like to see a new remake of "The Sun Also Rises". Is there a movie of "Brave New World"? That would be really good. Or "A Room With A View" set in outerspace.

I'm not aware of any Halloween parties, therefore I have not pondered any costume ideas...
Steve Irwin will be a big costume.
Personally, I've always been a fan of going as a shower. Some PVC, a belt, and a shower curtain and you're in business.
