Coin-Operated Blog

Let's start this off with another Raiku:

I want pudding now
But all I have is soy milk
Now it is just slime

Beckie and I were in the video store trying to find a video. Beckie was near this guy walking with his wife reading off the titles when he walked by. When he got to the Cs he read the title of one video as "kap-oh-tay", much different from the way people pronounce "Capote". And it wasn't like he was just being dumb, he tried to sound it out. This is *almost* as bad as "Rakeem for a Dreem" or "Requiem for a Dream". At least Capote is a name and not a real word like "requiem". Oy!

We watched Harry Potter & The Goblet of Fire. It was excellent, as always.

We also went to Ponderosa. It was scary but had tasty garlic bread.

Not much else happened. I got Beckie addicted to "Top Chef". She stayed up until 5am watching the reruns. So good. I went to bed because I couldn't be up so late.

We had mini-sodas that had names like "Focus" and "Radiance". Beckie was also obsessed with tiny bananas, tiny elephants (a la Merry Melodies) and giant sloths. She likes things big or very small.

My parents are in Vegas this week. They are going to WV as soon as they come back to plan my sister's wedding. I have to stay there next weekend and cat sit. It should be fun. Cable. Food. House to myself.

This friday, I'm planning on going to Necto w/ Jenn. If anyone else wants to come that's where we'll be. She hasn't been there in like 6 months so it's about time. And she said she's bringing her supervisor, but I'm not counting on it. I think he's a myth like a Yeti or a Unicorn or a Dinosaur. I think we're also meeting beforehand to go to the Heidelburg to get a Boot of Beer.

Not much else is going on. I can't wait for summer. I am scared of finals, but I shall pass them, as I always do, and then I will have the best summer ever.

Quietude is not a word.
