Judge: Are you in CCNO (Correction Center of Northwest Ohio)?
Defendant: No, I'm here.
Courtroom: *Chuckle*

Today was a pretty slow day. There wasn't much exciting that happened. One guy got charged with a DUI but wanted out of it because he was joining the army and if convicted would be kicked out. He stood in the courtroom at attention and would say things like "Sir, yes, sir". The judge suggested that he could always join another army, because there is more than one. The guy did not like the idea of joining the Czechoslovakian army. I refrained from pointing out that Czechoslovakia didn't even exist anymore. At one point while waiting for something, the judge and the baliff were talking about football. The kid yelled (yelled!) in open court, "I bet you're talking about Pittsburgh!" The judge just said yes and continued. It was weird.

Lesson For Today: Don't yell in open court. The judge does not want to talk to you.

The clerk for the judge (who I go to school with) called me over at one point and showed me the judge's dog under the desk. It is the most well-behaved dog ever.

One guy came up and asked me where someone he knew would appear. I checked for him and told him. The guy had really bad teeth and when he talked it smelled like his entire mouth was rotting. I had to cover my mouth from throwing up. It was the most awful experience ever. I'm still nauseous and just thinking about it gives me goosebumps now. The person who he was looking for was in Courtroom 3: Felony Courtroom.

In other news, I watched the movie "Serenity" last night. It was such a good movie. I haven't seen any of "Firefly" but I would like to. However, now I know the end of the story kind of, so it kind of ruins the whole thing. But I bet it is still good. I really liked the one girl, but I didn't know who she was, but she looked familiar. It turns out she played Anna Espinosa on Alias. Anna was my favorite villain on Alias. It makes sense why she wasn't on Alias after the first season, because Firefly started in 2002 and she had a bigger role. I love her.
