The semester is winding down. I can't believe that Thanksgiving is a week from Thursday. Oy! I must study. I feel like I'm going to fail. I won't, but I'll feel like that until I get my exam grades back.
My externship is ending this week. All good praises from the Judge and staff. Yes! I am very happy. She said that my work has been outstanding and that I have really helped to clear out their docket. I'm really proud of the work I did. In total I did nine opinions. That's a lot of opinions. Oh, and she said that I could use her as a reference. Yay! I hope that will help me find a job.
I'm currently waiting for the externship class portion to start, aka hell.
I had to register for classes this morning. I'm not very happy with my schedule or class selections. It seemed that there was not really anything I wanted to take. Currently, I'm signed up for Trusts & Estates (want to take it), Constitutional Law 2 (need it), Gender and the Law (may be interesting), Real Estate Transactions (sounds painful, but will help in future house purchase), and Natural Resources (blurf). I think I'm taking classes with 3 of the Colleagues least favorite professors. This may change though. I'm going to take Estate Planning but they haven't posted the times and dates yet because it is a Flex course. Most of my classes are at night or the afternoon. I thought this would be better than me dragging myself out of bed at 6am to go to class. I'm also going to get another externship to take up some of the morning time.
Right now I'm reading "The Sun Also Rises" which is only one of the best books ever.
Not much else is new with me. Last weekend was fun. I don't know what I'm doing this weekend. Allegedly, the Wednesday before Thanksgiving is "Goth Night" at Necto, so I'm thinking about going. I don't know how to be goth. Maybe I'll just wear a Rainbow Colored MuuMuu (sp?). But people would probably think I was for real real and not talk to me. Maybe I'll just wear black eyeliner or something.

For the love of god take what you'd like as long as it isn't election law. Dastardly troll-midgets. Take admin law, everyone is doing it! Had lunch with Klein, who suggested AGAIN I work for legal aid and wasn't even phased when I explained that I'd taken that advice once already. If you need help dying your hair black for Goth Night let me know, we can always get it fixed at Douglas J.
Love,
The Colleague
You said "docket". Legal terms are fun!
Congrats on doing well during your externship!
