Just Can't Win

BBC NEWS - California backs gay marriage law

The California State Legislature approved a bill that allows same-sex couples to get married in California. This is the first time a state legislature has approved such a law.

However... "The office of Mr Schwarzenegger, who has previously opposed gay marriage, issued a statement saying the governor believes the issue is best decided in the courts."

Since when do conservatives want this to be decided by courts? Their best argument was that they wanted a legislature to decide instead of a court. But now they are changing their minds because they don't like the outcome and that's not fair. What happened to hatred of activist judges?

He will probably veto the bill because he's a tool. I scowl in your general direction, which is west because California is west. Actually if I scowled to the east it would get to him, but it would just take longer.
