Condiments: The Universal Language

I have proof that the Colleague and I are platonic soulmates: we both have read and enjoyed "Kissing in Manhattan". She said that it is her best friend May's favorite book. I don't know anyone else who has read it. Interesting.

The Colleague and I have been watching "So You Think You Can Dance" whenever we can. I record it. It's so great. I hate American Idol but I'm into the dancing shows. I've also seen "Dancing with the Stars". I consider myself an expert on the Pasa Doble now.

Beckie is sad. Jessica is happy. I don't know if Dan has a place to live yet. Lately I have been hanging out with my friends Seth, Summer, Ryan and Marissa. There was some trouble last spring with a shooting, but now they have more time to hang out. I also want to hang out with my friend Sydney but she doesn't get along with my other friends very well. And it seems they want to hang out at the exact same times this year, which is very frustrating.

Yesterday I started working on a new case for my internship. I have to go through the record of a case and make sure the facts in an opinion and the cases cited are correct. Boring. But it's a good experience. I've never gone through a record before.

I saw the premier of the show "Reunion" last night. Interesting concept. Boring show. It wasn't totally boring, but it was pretty predictable in that it played out like a bad John Hughes movie with worse actors. The episode was 1986 and the music, sets, and clothing were from that period. I thought the actors were bland and even though all this stuff was happening I felt no emotion for them or from them. However, I'll give it another chance. The premise is that every episode is one year leading up to their 20 year reunion and one of six friends is dead and they rest are suspects. I hope it gets better. My only question is...wil there be another season?

Can't you totally see Barbara Bush giving her son advice about the Hurricane Katrina disaster and saying "Let them eat cake!". I can.

Somebody once thought I was Jesus, so reluctantly, I had to cure him.

Today is my parents' 33rd Wedding Anniversary. That's a long time. Happy anniversary!

No one expects the Spanish Inquisition. Except the Spanish Inquisadors. They know, otherwise it wouldn't work very well, now would it?

I just learned that a condiment called "Fry Sauce" is popular in Utah. It's just ketchup and mayonnaise mixed together. I remember when I was in France, after the bar I would go to the fry place and get fries with mayonnaise and ketchup. Yum. Mayonnaise is a french word. I forget what ketchup was. I think "le ketchup". French is such an easy language. All the condiments are the same. Condiments: the universal language.

I only watched about 10 minutes of reunion before I got bored. Especially the whole DUI/who was driving deception-y thing. Blah.

BTW. Dan does have a place to live. But he does not have cable or his television.

Cable is a luxury.
