A Blog with a View

Why is Roman Polanski making a new Oliver Twist movie? Do we really need another? Did we ever need one? I might think it's cool if it was set in the future and they were cyborgs. But I don't think it is.

I found a new Gelato place in A2 last night. It's called Gelato Roma and I think it's a chain because it sounds familiar. Maybe one in Royal Oak too? Anyway they also serve pizzalato which sounds like pizza made from gelato, but it's not, it's just pizza. But with a weird name.

I've learned that companionship is highly underrated. People make it seem like relationships are about other things but I think it comes down to just not being alone. I don't think it's helpful to just surround yourself with people because you can still be alone and in a crowd. I think what a person needs is that one person who will put yourself above everyone else. I think that's true companionship and all that really matters.

I think that's why people like dogs. Dogs are always on your side. And you're never alone when they're with you. The same with children too.

Birthdays are weird. I think I need a haircut. I think I need a personality modification. I think I need new shoes.

It feels like my life is never about trying to be first, but trying never to be last. I'm paddling upstream against a current and I'm staying in one place and getting very tired, very quickly.

It's just a lazy Saturday giving me too much time to think. I need to get out of bed, but I'm afraid.
