1. Do you think that there are too many lawyers and that is leading to unnecessary litigation?
I don't think that there are too many lawyers. Everything is very legal now and I think that lawyers are very important to the functioning of society. Plus I want a job, so I need to keep the demand for lawyers high. Most lawyers never litigate so I don't think the litigation is the result of too many lawyers. If anything, I think the unnecessary litigation is the result of too many bad lawyers. Law is a very noble profession, and there are too many jerks that drag the professon through the mud. *cough* Fieger *cough*
2. I recently read "The King of Torts" by John Grisham. What are your feelings on class action lawsuits and how little defendants receive when these cases are settled?
I think it's crap that when people are really injured, they get nothing. However, I still think that class actions are an excellent tool to keep businesses in check. I guess class actions don't right wrongs as much as they prevent wrongs in the future, or stop businesses from being too bad, so they don't get sued for 5 billion dollars. I think it's funny how in some class actions they get coupons for more of the products that hurt them. It seems wrong but I don't have a better solution. Also, class actions seem like a lot of work, so I think the lawyers deserve something, but some just bring class actions to earn a bunch of money while people die of emphysema and get coupons. Some lawyers suck, see #1.
3. Other than your road trip, what else do you plan to do this summer? Get a job?
I may work. I don't really know. I'm planning on having a lot of fun. I'm also planning on getting my life in shape, and that seems most important to me. I need to figure stuff out. Maybe I'll volunteer or something. Most likely I'll start looking for jobs for next summer.
4. What are you most excited to see on your trip?
I'm most excited to see Seattle and California. I've never been that far west and it sounds really amazing. I don't really know what it's like out there. I also like the ocean, and I am always excited to see the ocean.
5. Do you think that "Will and Grace" should be canceled? Why?
I haven't really watched it this season. I hear its been renewed for season #8. I think that the show is losing steam which is sad because it was so funny. I think the whole wedding for grace, and pregnancy for debra messing really hurt the show. That whole season was so bad. That was probably when it jumped the shark. I'd be sad if they cancelled W&G but I'd also understand. I think the show is just running out of stories. And if they try to spice it up with a new character it could be disasterous. I don't want it to be cancelled, but maybe it's better to cancel it before everyone hates it.

Interview me.
The masses are responsible for frivolous lawsuits and so are the lawyers who are willing to take their cases, and the media goobers who tell people their rights without really knowing what those are. Bah.
Interview me! If you have time.
