I hate snow. Not in the way I hate contracts. I just don't like cold feet (in the actual and metaphorical sense). However, there is something mystical and wonderful about snow. It's amazing that little crystals of water can amass into something purely white, heavy, clumpy, cold, and wreaks complete havok upon the world. At the same time it glitters and glows and shimmers and shines. I love it when the morning sun first shines onto a newly fallen blanket of snow. It makes the world seem more silent, more serene. It changes the world into something brighter. It's amazing.
Of course, I'm not happy I had to drive through a fresh spludge of snow this morning to be in class by 8:30.
In other news, semester two has started. Grades have finally been entered.
I saw on the news this morning a woman telling a story about how she flew down a mountain on a mudslide holding her 8 week old son. I'm glad both are ok. I just must ask, why live in California? It has to be the natural disaster capital of the US. Either it is plagued by drought and then raging fires, or then it rains and there are mudslides. Don't forget the earthquakes. And the riots. And the constant assault by the army of mole men. Ok, the mole men have not be substantiated, but I think it's quite possible. And there are probably dragons.
My feet are still cold.
Ok, now waiting for civil procedure 2: back in the habit.

Don't forget Ahhhhh-nold is also the gov. That is rather disasterous as well.
Nice Sister Act reference.
Culiforneyah is the number one action state.
Don't forget about Bigfoots. (Bigfeet?) And C.H.U.D.s. Wait, that's NYC.

You said unsubstantiated! It has only just begun.
Beckie
I've convinced my little sister that California will eventually fall off into the ocean due to various natural disasters. If you ever see her, ask if she'd ever live in California and she'll stare at you in horror and then run away. Six year-olds are so gullible. There is a teeny tiny part of me that also believes it though.
The legal speak is every plaguing my mind!
Sarah is going to be one messed up child. But California will probably fall off into the ocean. I think we can blame Arnold for that. That's what happens when you let foreigners run your state. Just kidding. J-Gran is from Canadia and I love her.
