Torts exam: completed! That's right after hours of studying yesterday I finally prevailed and just finshed my 4 hour torts exam! Complete with a 2.5 hour essay about the liability of many different parties. I wrote 3884 words! I don't know how many pages that it, but it's A LOT. I'm glad I didn't have to hand write that much. It's strange because I actually felt energized when I left the exam. I thought it was relatively easy, not simple, but not too hard, and I think I rocked it. The short essay was on products liability, the multiple choice was pretty hard, but doable, and the long essay was long and involved but relatively easy. I actually ran out of stuff to write after about 1.5 hours. I still had an hour. So I looked deep and got some more issues. I then analyzed a little more fully. I bet I spent about 500 words alone just on the proximate cause of one negligence claim! BTW proximate cause is handy, but BS because you never know how it will go. I hate that. So I now feel really good about Torts and CivPro and I'm ready to go into Property which I was predicting would be my best exam anyway. So hopefully I do really well. It's hard though because I walk out of there and I'm like "everything was so obvious, I'm sure everyone wrote the same thing". Maybe they did or maybe I got an extra assault issue, or necessity or conversion or something.
Oh, and my torts teacher is so funny. In one multiple choice question the parties were Tori P.J. and Bjork. The long essay was making fun of the Pistons/Pacers thing. It was great.
Here I am rambling on about my test. How are you?
