There was a really good Savage Love yesterday. It is pretty much a primer to the intersexed, people with ambiguous male and female genitals. It talks about the view of the Intersex Society of North America, which is interesting because I think that Jay was the organisation's webmaster for a while.
On a similar note, I still want to read the book Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides. It is a novel about an intersexed child, who was raised as a girl in Michigan, but because of emergency surgery at fourteen years old, it became apparent that the child was a boy. This is the same author of the Virgin Suicides.
Interestingly, the movie adaptation of the "Virgin Suicides" was one of the 5 worst movies I've ever seen. I must say that I give everyone second chances because I want to read a novel by the same author of the Virgin Suicides and I saw "Lost in Translation", which was directed by the same director, Sofia Coppola, as the "Virgin Suicides."
