I love Yahoo! just because of the interconnectivity of all the Yahoo! sites and all the different tools that Yahoo! offers. I just tried Gmail today and I love it. It's really cool. It operates a lot differently than other web email accounts. It doesn't take 5 seconds for a page to refresh, but instead opens quickly and smoothly in some kind of new web application format. When email comes in with the same subject, all the messages stack on each other in order so it's really easy to follow the chain of conversation and keep it grouped neatly. I also like how there are labels instead of folders. This is useful because all the email stays in the same page, but it's easy to sort, where with folders you have to go to a different folder for every message. With Gmail there are also shortcut keys. I'm not very proficient with them yet, but I find them very easy to use and very convenient. Overall I think that Gmail is the best webmail available. It doesn't quite beat email applications like Outlook or Eudora or something, but it's really close.
Then there is the 1GB storage capacity and the competiton is blown away....
