Law School Update/Timeline

November 1 - Sent in Application
November ? - Rcvd letter that I will get reply in 6 weeks
February 2 - (10 Weeks later) Call WSU, will get reply absolutely no later than March 15
March 1 - Rcvd letter that Application is being reviewed and I will know absolutely, positively, by April 15
April 15 - Call WSU, a letter will be sent and I will know absolutely, positively, undeniably, in two weeks (April 28
April 28 - Call WSU, still no answer

I called WSU Law today to find out the status of my application. Of course, they haven't gotten a response, and my application is still in "deferred" mode. I then asked what was going on. The lady said that the review committee hasn't reviewed my application yet, because of the large quantity of applications received. She said that they were meeting again this next week but that she couldn't guarantee they'd review it at that meeting. IF they did review it, I wouldn't hear until May 15, but if they didn't review it, it would be an indeterminable amount of time before they'll know.

Now, I don't know what to do. Do I just forget about it and plan on going to Toledo? Or do I wait? My place is reserved at UT but I haven't started on any housing plans. The sucky thing is that I've gotten offers to live with S&J, Mike, Austin, and Beckie. I would prefer to live with any of them, or continuing to live with Jenn if that works out. I guess I just need to make a decision...soon.

Pros of Wayne: State School = Less Money, Friends all nearby, Beckie goes there, Many housing options
Pros of UT: Ranked Higher, Smaller school, Less things to distract me, Better admissions department, Wireless network connection (I know it shouldn't matter but it does)

I guess I need to think about it a little bit and then get some advice. I also need to talk to Jenn to see if she is for sure staying in Novi. Oy. This is hard work.
