"It's a bad day, it's a train ride, it's a bad day and you're my medicine." ~ Lisa Loeb
It is the end of a long weekend. Most of it went well. On Thursday, Jay and I celebrated his birthday. We then went to Lansing on Friday to hang out with Jack and Mike at Spiral. Then there was the whole Easter thing.
Today ended the weekend very poorly. I ended up taking my car in because it was sounding really bad on the highway. So I took it to the dealership and they came back and told me that I would need to replace the front right drive axle, the left right wheel bearing, and the power steering pump. The total is $1200. BLAH! Like I have that kind of money! Then they wanted me to replace the tires ($440) and get all my fluids changed ($350). I'm just getting the vitals for now. I think my tires look ok, but if not I'll get cheaper ones from the dealerchip. I guess it's just going to have to go on the Visa for now.... My parents and Jenn both offered to help me pay for it. My credit card has no interest right now though, so I'll just charge it for the time being. It's just nice to know that I have a back up, if I need to. I would have really like to buy something other than dumb car parts.
I have heard that the "Takkun Saga" has ended. Favorably? Perhaps. I'm waiting for "Takkun Saga Z: The Next Clone Generation War" now. Perhaps it will consist of text messaging between Takkun and Jim. Maybe Rini will even get in on the action.
I'm in a pretty good mood though depite the car thing. I figure that it will all work out and I shouldn't worry right now. I also feel that this is a sign that I need to live close to school. Still waiting to hear from Wayne. I REALLY want to get in. It would help me out, SO MUCH!
To relax today I played some FFXI. I'm almost a lvl 8 BLM. It was annoying today though because I think I died about 6 times. It was so frustrating. I could not get a break. I am also one wild onion away from completing some quest. I forgot what it was though.
